In summer, the rainwater purifies and refreshes the environment. In a land with numerous spas and thermal baths, no doubt you will enjoy a moment of relax bathing in the outdoor swimming-pool which can be heated and covered, or going for walks on the shores of the numerous beaches of the area: Santa Cristina, Bastiagueiro, Mera, to mention but a few.
For those who would like more specific water therapy, the hotel is equipped with a Jacuzzi and a relaxation zone. If you prefer the sea, there are many alternative marine activities. In addition, there is a paddel court in the hotel grounds and nearby are amenities for lovers of golf and other sports.
After a restful night's sleep and a good home-made breakfast, it is an excellent time to enjoy the first sunrays whilst strolling around the “ pazo´s ” gardens. A beautiful landscaped garden with many surprising and picturesque corners. You will find over 60 species of trees and plants as well as a labyrinth.
The windows of the pazo bedrooms look out onto very picturesque countryside where you may contemplate the sunsets on the “ ría del Burgo” . Overlooking the garden, there is a large summer terrace onto which the sun shines from morning to night, where both families and friends get together to talk and enjoy entertaining evenings.

For those who wish, the “Pazo do Río” provides its guests with a complete programme of rural tourist and adventure activities, ranging from hiking for nature lovers and paint-ball for the more adventurous.
In the environs of the hotel, only 3 kilometres away, is the town of A Coruña and other surrounding villages such as Santa Cristina, Perillo, Oleiros, Betanzos and Mera, where you can visit numerous architectural sites and discover the Galician culture. The proximity of the airport, the train and bus station as well as the proximity of monumental towns like Santiago de Compostela are some of the reasons for visiting Galicia and staying at the Pazo do Río.
